Deceit was actually blind so he didn’t really realize why everyone thought of him as a villain
He also assumed Virgil kept the eye shadow like how the others described him
Deceit just goes off what he hears
Nobody has actually realized Deceit is blind
The light sides find out by accident when they drag Deceit in for his opinion as a tie breaker to decide on the color of paint Thomas should use to decorate his room
Deceit is just lost
