Apparently people have been adopting dogs and either killing them themselves or dropping them to a kill shelter (and one even said they were flying them to poor Asian areas to be eaten) under the Twitter hashtag #pitbulldropoff
This is completely cruel and evil and word needs to get around about these demons so everyone knows what these demons are planning to do to dogs once they get ahold of them.
If you know someone or if you yourself is planning to give away a pitty by craigslist soon, DONT and wait for awhile!!!! They act like they’re going to adopt them and act all nice then they get rid of them, don’t be fooled!!

Judith Herman writes about forgiveness (in the context of atrocities and abuse):
“Revolted by the fantasy of revenge, some survivors attempt to bypass their outrage altogether throught a fantasy of forgiveness. This fantasy, like its polar opposite, is an attempt at empowerment. The survivor imagines that she can transcend her rage and erase the impact of the trauma through a willed, defiant act of love. But it is not possible to exorcise the trauma, through either hatred or love. Like revenge, the fantasy of forgiveness often becomes a cruel torture, because it remains out of reach for most ordinary human beings. Folk wisdom recognizes that to forgive is divine. And even divine forgiveness, in most religious systems, is not unconditional. True forgiveness cannot be granted until the perpetrator has sought and earned it through confession, repentance, and restitution.
“Genuine contrition in a perpetrator is a rare miracle. Fortunately, the survivor does not need to wait for it. Her healing depends on the discovery of restorative love in her own life; it does not require that this love be extended to the perpetrator. tl;dr: Forgiveness is not a requirement for healing. You can heal and move on without forgiveness.
It can also harm you and it should never be demanded of you.
And you certainly don’t owe forgiveness to anyone.
Particularly if you live in Texas, please vote, just for the schadenfreude. Can you even imagine if Texas goes blue. Can you even imagine Ted Cruz losing. I’m getting giddy just thinking about the conservative meltdown. There is literally zero path to the Presidency for Republicans that doesn’t include Texas. If they have to sweat bullets for the next forever thinking that Texas might be a left-leaning state… guys, this just sounds like a fun time.

Last I checked, Beto is behind by like 4%. That is already huge for a Democrat in Texas by my understanding, and that is only polling “likely” voters, which literally never includes young people. If people our age turn up to vote, it would definitely swing the election massively towards Beto.

So from what I’ve observed the time between 11pm and 1 am PST is the time when my Tumblr feed is the most dead, so maybe this is the right time too drop controversial opinions.
First of all I hate pineapples so jot that down
Pink is my least favorite color and glitter is the enemy. So is broken styrofoam.
My dad made me do most of the sweeping around the house starting when I was eight though so maybe that contributes to my hatred of glitter, styrofoam, and teeny tiny plastic beads.

how can you not like a fruit that’s dissolving you while you eat it? the sensation of your body fighting this oh so sweet and juicy yellow food is great
It literally makes me want to brush my teeth afterwards if it even comes into contact with other fruit I’m eating. It gets everywhere and keeps ruining my melon cubes. If I swallow some of the stuff I’m so disturbed and disgusted that I have to sit down for a minute and think about my place in the universe. I am a pineapple hater and will most likely be one until the end of time because dear God I do not hate a lot of things in this world but the taste of pineapple is one of them.
They have a nice aesthetic look though.
