So in your dragon witch au Dee was born female but is transgender. It has been said that he wears a binder and gets misgendered sometimes. But he can use magic so why doesn’t he just… you know… use magic to make his body male? Or at least more masculine?

Y’know, a friend asked me this question too- so I’ll tell you what I told them.

Dee wants his transition to be something HE does, not something Virgil and Remy do for him. And at the moment he’s not the best at magic so the likelihood of him just covering his chest in glowing glitter stars is very high XD

Not to mention the spells for that are rather perminent, and he wants to make sure that it’s really wants to do with his body first. He feels like this stage of his life is too early for such a big life-altering decision.

(And to all my beautiful trans boys who’re also in this position- it’s okay to not be sure if you want to transition. It’s your body and a big decision that only you can make. No one will ever transition the same way as someone else, it’s your journey- so don’t ever worry about what people in your life/society thinks of you. No matter what you decide you’re still a man and you’re still valid ❤️)
