I needed to share this conversation I just had.

My dad, fully aware I’m not usually one to smile: What are you smiling about?

Me: The world is a funny place.

Dad: Yeah?

Me: You know how my recent obsession has been with Thomas Sanders’ YouTube channel?

Dad: Of course.

Me: Well he partnered with a jelly company, and he has his own jelly now.

Dad: *chuckle* Oh, wow. A Thomas Sanders jam.

Me: It’s actually based off of one of his characters. The logic character, whose name is Logan. It’s Logan’s berry.

Dad: Ah, like lingonberries. Very clever.

Me: No… there’s an actual thing called a loganberry.

Dad: Is Logan the anxious one?

Me: No… that’s Anxiety.

Dad: Ah. Logan’s the purple one then?

Me: … no. He’s the teacher. With the blue tie.

Dad: Hmmm. Whatever. Bet he’s gonna make a lot of money off of that.

Me: I don’t think most YouTubers actually make an insane amount of money.  I’m just amused that this exists.

Dad: Yeah, me too. A YouTuber with a jelly. What’ll they think of next?
