Hey! Do you have any ideas how and where could I buy a binder without my transphobic parents knowing? It’s okay if you don’t tho. I know it’s probably mission impossible… :(

Depending on how keen of an eye your parents keep on you, you might very well be able to sneak a binder in without having them notice!

There are several options:

1. You could have a friend order it for you and have it delivered to their home, then go visit them and bring it home with you in a bag or similar.
2. If you have your own credit card, you could order it yourelf and just make sure you are the first one checking the mail until it arrives and then sneak it into your room (this is what I did).
3. Sometimes people give away their used binders and if you get one that you, you could ask the previous owner to ship it to you in discrete packaging so your parents won’t know what it is.
4. You might also be able to convince them to buy you one if you can trick them into thinking it’s just a really advanced sports bra, or that it is something you need for a school play, or some other lie you think they would believe.

And there’s probably more way too that I haven’t been able to remember right now.
