Was child protective services ever called while the boys still lived with their parents? Obviously no action was taken since they where all still living there but did Roman ever think about calling them (I can’t imagine that he would’ve known much about the origination and would’ve been thinking more about just getting them all out of a bad situation)

justisaisfine:

Roman was actually terrified of calling them because he thought that would mean being placed into foster homes/orphanage and the brothers being split up.

He had lots of prejudice against those organizations and, even if most were not true, that kept him from reaching out for help. The only thing for him that was important was getting them out of that house and staying together. He was afraid that, lets say they did end up in the system, that one of them would get adopted and get separated from the rest and he couldn’t deal with that fear.

He was especially afraid that other people wouldn’t know how to handle them like he did and that he knew what was best for them was to stick together
(remember that part in lilo and stitch? when the worker takes lilo and nani ’s like “I’m the only one who understands her” yeah that)
