This just made me see something I hadnt before…

Back when Virgil was just Anxiety, Roman was happy and full of dreams and adventure!
When they accepted Virgil in, Roman began to slip, slowly getting less and less while Virgil grows happier.
Those two need a balance and it seems they havent found it yet.

*eyebrow waggle* this most definitely is not one of the things I think about often and most certainly does not appear as a subtext to one of my comics, and most blatantly is not the reason that Roman doesn’t slip slightly past the dividing line between ‘creativity’ and ‘anxiety’ and obviously not why Virgil’s not leaning heavily onto his Creative counterpart in this picture.
